The other night the Washington Redkins ran the weirdest trick play in the history of the NFL. Trailing 24-0 with 2 seconds left in the first half, the Washington Redskins sent their field goal team on to the field. What happened after that is almost too bizarre to describe. Almost the entire field goal team was shifted out to the left and then the kicker was also sent in motion out to the left. Then the holder took the snap and sent a wounded duck of a pass downfield that was intercepted by the New York Giants. I don't know if a play like this has ever been run in the history of the NFL.
